Went this year for the afternoon and wondered… 1. why I had never gone before. and 2. why I hadn’t got a hotel room and gone to the dance party afterwards. Next year. oh and 3. why didn’t i buy that Eric May painting to benefit old gold ?
Maybe I still can … the A&W on the way out of town.

[one05] – proswell – dryrot

A 45 minute continuous mix from Proswell, ft. b-sides, out takes, new material, and a few favorites from his sophomore release Carrot Dossier (columbo theme, tar and atari, rat news) on m3rck records. Even with this relation, Dryrot is easily a release with its own identity.
Finding time between releases at m3rck and running Inpuj, he explores the laid back and driving sound that’s heard between the cracks of Carrot Dossier and often strays from the sound that defined that album (as is heard within the opening minutes). While a welcome and surprise release from one of our favorites, the unique sensibility and style of this release also makes an exceptional introduction to those that have yet to hear his music and will most likely leave them searching for more.World tour to be announced soon.

I have always been extremely attracted to wallpaper. Even the kind of ugly flowery kind. Well, not all wallpaper. Like, “country-chic”…that’s kind of gross. But for the most part, I love it. I’m glad that the resurgence of wallpaper is in a sort of small-batch form. Everyone seems to be making their own lines of wallpaper. Studio Nommo has some pretty rocking wallpaper.

A lot of it is really really animated, making the real objects in the room stand out and look very…real. It’s like living in a cartoon!

Felt’s Entry into Adulthood

What’s up with felt lately? I used to think of it as something you paste onto a neon visor, after decorating with sequins and puffy paint. I keep finding more and more evidence that felt’s grown up! This also looks deceptively simple to copy…I’m just sayin’.

Also, I would gladly take any one of these as a Christmas gift!
